Anatoly Patrick ArchitectureFace-lift and addition to a retro 70's A-Frame beach house in Goolwa Beach, South Australia.
Living areas were relocated to second floor and large deck added to give indoor-outdoor entertainment with stunning views of the beach. The open plan living/kitchen area has lofty high ceilings and features the original exposed steel structure and floor framing giving the home an informal beachy vibe.
The upper (loft) level is now a light filled retreat/look-out thanks to addition of skylights and a crows nest balcony. A spiral staircase connects the living level and loft. The loft floor was cut back mezzanine-style and overlooks the living space below. The net effect is connected, open, informal living that suits a beach home.

Like its namesake, the beloved Sleeping Beauty, this home embodies family, fantasy and adventure in their truest form. Visions are seldom what they seem, but this home did begin 'Once Upon a Dream'. Sara HopkinsThe striped awning offers protection from the afternoon sun while adding beauty to the exterior. Additionally, a motorized, retractable and transparent screen installed behind a custom-fitted, removable apron protects against the harsher elements and insures privacy. The fabric for the custom made cushions is from Pindler & Pindler's outdoor collection.
DANE AUSTIN INTERIOR DESIGN Boston & CambridgeComplete with bamboo shades, party lights, and a charming stenciled ceiling, in warmer months, the 9-by-12-foot deck offers extra space for entertaining. The colorful decor was inspired by a vacation in Mexico.

Pisano Development Group, LLCThis new roof dormer and 3rd floor roof deck renovation project converted an existing attic area to a new showcase for this bayfront home. The project included a new dormered roof terrace, covered balcony, and renovated attic space with french-style doors opening to gorgeous views of the bay and marina.
Edgewater Design GroupOur clients already had the beautiful lot on Burt Lake, all they needed was the home. We were hired to create an inviting home that had a "craftsman" style of the exterior and a "cottage" style for the interior. They desired to capture a casual, warm, and inviting feeling. The home was to have as much natural light and to take advantage of the amazing lake views. The open concept plan was desired to facilitate lots of family and visitors. The finished design and home is exactly what they hoped for. To quote the owner "Thanks to the expertise and creativity of the design team at Edgewater, we were able to get exactly what we wanted."
