Completely enclosed in glass, this custom wine cellar in Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles, California, is sure to turn some heads. Located directly off of the kitchen and dining room, this custom wine room / glass wine cellar / modern wine cellar / contemporary wine cellar holds upwards of 200 bottles. Glass, Metal, and stone are all utilized in our favorite combination for a gorgeous contemporary masterpiece. Double deep metal wine racks / metal wine racking is utilized here, placed a few feet off of the ground to allow for potential case storage space on the tile below. Black metal wine racking was also chosen, as opposed to silver metal wine racks in order to really make the space pop. The glass here is single pane. Master Wine Cellar Builders and Design Build team at Vintage Cellars recommend using dual paned, thermally insulated glass in wine cellars to minimize potential for condensation, as well as making sure that your wine cellar is able to maintain proper temperature and humidity constantly. Single pane glass simply does not have a high enough R Value of insulation, though it can make the space look a bit more clean and elegant. The cooling system was recessed and ducted into the ceiling to ensure the minimalist look was achieved for this wine cellar / glass wine cellar / modern wine room / modern glass wine cellar / modern glass wine room / contemporary wine room. This home beautifully blends modern, contemporary, and traditional design features. Wood, marble, stone, glass, and metal all come together beautifully to make this space cool and sleek, but also warm and homey. Here in Newport Coast, Newport Beach, Orange County, California, modern / contemporary architecture is THE design trend. In a home which mixes the best of traditional and contemporary, this custom wine cellar / custom wine room fits like a glove. Double sided glass walls enclose this custom wine cellar, with one side visible from the living room, the other from the dining room. Floor to ceiling black metal wine racks line each wall - dual sided as to maximize horizontal label forward design and display. Vintage Cellars, master wine cellar builders out of San Diego, California, were able to design a beautiful looking and equally utilitarian cellar here, fitting over 675 wine bottles with ease. The cooling unit was an RM Coil, traditionally mounted into the racks - but in this instance was recessed into the ceiling. The cooling unit and heat load calculation took into account that there were two large walls of glass here - knowing fully that there would be substantial heat loss through the large single panes on either end. Within the room, beige stone accentuates the contemporary / modern look and matches stunningly with the color scheme and other design features in the surrounding rooms as well. Compact wine cellars are gorgeous and such a fantastic addition to any home. This glass front wine cellar / glass wine cellar in Solana Beach, San Diego, California, is a perfect example of turning that under-utilized closet or niche space. Located directly off of the dining room, this modern wine cellar blends style and utility, incorporating features such as triple deep wine racking with glass, stone, wood, and stainless steel. A contemporary look melding perfectly with this more traditional style home. Design Build team at Vintage Cellars was also commissioned to create a unique and stylish wooden backing, to ensure that the metal wine pegs really popped. Custom walnut stain was placed on Alder wood paneling, custom fit with metal wine rack pegs from floor to ceiling. We worked directly with Noe Design Co to create a one of a kind entrance into this cellar. The highest quality stainless steel framing and double pane thermally insulated glass were placed on the front wall to not only maintain a beautiful look, but to also ensure that this wine room kept a perfect 55 degree temperature with constant relative humidity. Wine Cellar Builder Vintage Cellars are true pros when it comes to proper wine storage. Long term wine storage was a must for this client. This small wine cellar / glass wine cellar / small wine room has a ducted cooling system - utilizing a Wine Guardian placed into the ceiling. A total of 324 bottles was achieved by maximizing the wall space with triple deep metal wine racks. This chandelier was here when the project began. It set the stage for this Gatsby-style transformation that took place so that the homeowners would have an incredible space for entertaining and storing their wine. An Edwardian house of substantial proportions in one of the prime roads in South west London (close to Clapham common), which needed a new lease of life and generally updating for modern family life. Our scheme not only involved the complete re- working of the house but by adding a full basement going right under the whole property and out into the rear garden. The great thing about this basement is generous ceiling height (2.7m), the fact that it is so spacious and light … and as a result does not feel like a basement at all. We also chose to connect the new basement areas with the main living room via a stylish staircase which acts not only as vertical link, but also as a striking design feature in it’s own right. In this wine cellar conversion project, Wine Cellar Specialists installed Ultra PEG metal wine racks attached on Aluminum backer panels. They came up with a racking design to accommodate 222 bottles. The label forward orientation allows for easy perusal of the wines. The wine cooling unit used was provided by US Cellar Systems. This was a 5X8 room with no windows. The clients were at a cross road with what to do with this dreary room. Well we decided as it was right off from the garage so what better room then a mancave! We added saddle leather BM paint. An oversized picture of Bridget Bardot! We took of the closet door and stood a standing mirror on the back wall. Had our mill rite make some midcentury shelves stacked in closet. Then added all the fun bar decor, We added a consul with a wall mounted TV and some super cool leather arm chairs for the men. A little scotch ready to enjoy while watching the playoffs! This is now the favorite! Who knew!
