Sticking with a black and white color palette, we have chosen a classic subway tile for the shower walls and a black and white hex for the bathroom floor. The black vanity and floral wallpaper brought some emotion into the space and adding the champagne brass plumbing fixtures and brass mirror was the perfect pop.
Dee Hurford DesignsThe bathtub was replaced with the Asher alcove bathtub by Kohler to compliment the clean lines of the Asher toilet.
The shower curtain was eliminated and replaced with a frameless sliding glass door by Vigo.
Two colors and materials were used for the tile. We took up to the ceiling. Glass Night Sky 3x12 subway tile was used for the upper portion in a 4x4 herringbone pattern while gloss white 3x6 ceramic subway tile was used for the bottom.
Angie Keyes CKBDMaster bath needed some serious reconfiguring. The huge jacuzzi tub was removed as it was never used. Client wanted more functional space and more closet space. So we expanded the master closet. In addition we updated the vanity space. We reorganized the shower removing the steam, giving us another 2 ft in the shower allowing to add a long niche and bench.

Richmond Hill Design + BuildWe started with a small, 3 bedroom, 2 bath brick cape and turned it into a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, with a new kitchen/family room layout downstairs and new owner’s suite upstairs. Downstairs on the rear of the home, we added a large, deep, wrap-around covered porch with a standing seam metal roof.

In this case, a difficult to enter drop-in tub and a tiny separate shower stall were replaced with a walk-in shower complete with multiple grab bars, shower seat, and an adjustable hand shower. For every challenge, we found an elegant solution, like placing the shower controls within easy reach of the seat. Along with modern updates to the rest of the bathroom, we created an inviting space that's easy and enjoyable for everyone.
NICHEdgThe space is now vibrant and functional. The incorporation of simple and affordable white subway tile mounted vertically, creates a sense of "height" in the bathroom. The custom cabinetry was key. This custom vanity offers ample drawer and closed storage in the condo sized hall bathroom. Meanwhile, the custom linen cabinet, which is recessed into the wall, increases the storage options without losing any main floor space.
Another perk...the bottom compartment of the linen cabinet houses the litterbox - a great feature for our client to conveniently hide it when entertaining guests. Even the furry members of the family are taken into account during our design process.
