Aus dieser ursprünglichen Single-Studentenwohnung, sollte nun mit Hilfe einfacher & origineller Lösungen, ein roter Faden erzeugt und somit eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre für das junge Paar geschaffen werden. Und natürlich durften dafür auch ein paar ausgewählte Designerstücke als Eyecatcher einziehen.

This 1930s hall, stairs and landing have got the wow factor with this grey and white patterned wallpaper by Bold & Noble. The paper gives a Scandinavian feel to the space, with it's Autumn leaf print in a neutral palette of off white and dark charcoal grey. The double set of drawers from Ikea provide brilliant storage for shoes, post, hats and gloves, pens and pencils, whilst looking pretty fabulous with the large grey mirror and yellow lamp too. You can just see the wonderful bespoke built in storage under the stairs in this photo. It is painted in Wimborne White by Farrow and Ball, the same as the ceiling and other woodwork.

В коридоре установлен шкаф до потолка с жалюзийными дверками белого цвета и позолоченной фурнитурой. Далее расположилась удобная зона для одевания: пуфик с ящиком для хранения вещей, зеркало в полный рост и открытые полки, где удобно оставлять сумки, ключи и прочие мелочи.

Your hallway or hall is the place you usually enter and exit the house, meaning it’s usually the place you want to load up or unload all your outdoor items – coats, jackets, umbrellas, hats, shoes, scarves, and often bags and keys, too. However, narrow hallways are common in a lot of UK and Irish properties so hallway storage can sometimes be hard to achieve. Instead, a picture wall with a collection of framed photographs or prints can make a lovely feature, as can adding Scandinavian wall decor such as clocks, hanging plants, prints or posters for decorative details that are easy to change. Hallway wallpaper is making a big comeback as it’s another way to add lots of character, colour and style to a small space like a hall or landing. The landing at the top of your staircase is too often a neglected but can provide valuable, flexible, additional space.
