Howells Architecture + DesignA colorful kids' bathroom holds its own in this mid-century ranch remodel.
Schwartz and ArchitectureThis project combines the original bedroom, small bathroom and closets into a single, open and light-filled space. Once stripped to its exterior walls, we inserted back into the center of the space a single freestanding cabinetry piece that organizes movement around the room. This mahogany “box” creates a headboard for the bed, the vanity for the bath, and conceals a walk-in closet and powder room inside. While the detailing is not traditional, we preserved the traditional feel of the home through a warm and rich material palette and the re-conception of the space as a garden room.

Kashian Bros FlooringOur designers transformed this small hall bathroom into a chic powder room. The bright wallpaper creates grabs your attention and pairs perfectly with the simple quartz countertop and stylish custom vanity. Notice the custom matching shower curtain, a finishing touch that makes this bathroom shine.
Kitchen Design ConceptsAfter reviving their kitchen, this couple was ready to tackle the master bathroom by getting rid of some Venetian plaster and a built in tub, removing fur downs and a bulky shower surround, and just making the entire space feel lighter, brighter, and bringing into a more mid-century style space.
The cabinet is a freestanding furniture piece that we allowed the homeowner to purchase themselves to save a little bit on cost, and it came with prefabricated with a counter and undermount sinks. We installed 2 floating shelves in walnut above the commode to match the vanity piece.
The faucets are Hansgrohe Talis S widespread in chrome, and the tub filler is from the same collection. The shower control, also from Hansgrohe, is the Ecostat S Pressure Balance with a Croma SAM Set Plus shower head set.
The gorgeous freestanding soaking tub if from Jason - the Forma collection. The commode is a Toto Drake II two-piece, elongated.
Tile was really fun to play with in this space so there is a pretty good mix. The floor tile is from Daltile in their Fabric Art Modern Textile in white. We kept is fairly simple on the vanity back wall, shower walls and tub surround walls with an Interceramic IC Brites White in their wall tile collection. A 1" hex on the shower floor is from Daltile - the Keystones collection. The accent tiles were very fun to choose and we settled on Daltile Natural Hues - Paprika in the shower, and Jade by the tub.
The wall color was updated to a neutral Gray Screen from Sherwin Williams, with Extra White as the ceiling color.

Alice CrawleyJewel colours and eclectic artwork were the starting point for this particular client, who’s Sri Lankan roots are playfully echoed throughout this small but impressive home in Queens Park.
Alice’s trademark injection of “chinoiserie chintz” only adds to the rainbow of colours and themes that run through this ground floor apartment, which demanded a little extra creativity due to the relatively tight budget.
The end result is a properly “homey” home which feels eccentric yet harmonious.
Studio 76 Kitchens and BathsDecorated shared bath includes kids theme and girls pink accessories. This kids bath has a shared entry between hallway and her bedroom. A small marbled octagon tile was selected for the flooring and subway tile for a new shower. The more permanent features like the tile will grown with her while wall color and decor can easily change over the years.
AAA ArchitectureThis tile-less master bathroom is coated with a waterproof-epoxy paint used in institutional applications.
