The inspiration for the rooms color pallet was taken from my client's personal vacation photos to Hawaii. We both fell in love with the hibiscus flower and the sunsets. Often I take inspiration from my clients in order to create a unique design tailored to them.

Luxury home office includes built in wood desk with open shelving accented with lighting. Dark blue walls on two sides of the room add color and warmth to this study. Modern artwork line the walls and add finishing touches to the home office space. The wood like tile continues into the study from the foyer and Linfield completes the space with accessories, books and decorative boxes.

Every writer needs a library. We layered her vintage rug with a reindeer hide she brought home from Iceland. The shelves and side table are from Anthropologie, bench from Organic Modernism. The chair is from Article. The ottoman is from etsy, pillow from World Market. The painting by our client's uncle, rotates on a dial and can be positioned in any orientation.
Glenbrook Cabinetry
To create a clean updated look in our client's home office we used white, low sheen, painted cabinetry and shelves. To coordinate the existing chandelier, our client selected crystal hardware and satin nickel bar pulls. The final touch in this coordinated space was custom painting our client's existing desk. All of the elements come together in this clean, transitional space!

Le bleu stimule la créativité, ainsi nous avons voulu créer un effet boite dans le bureau avec la peinture Selvedge de @farrow&ball allié au chêne, fil conducteur de l’appartement.

We converted the mudroom into a home office fit for a boss lady. Her office was voted the best home office in the peak of work from home days during the Corona virus lockdown days. We started with finding this beautiful whimsical wallpaper with blues and pinks. The perfectly matching floating shelves make the wallpaper stand out even more.

Historic homes offer many challenges, outdated wiring, plaster walls, and drafty windows. But the large rooms and gorgeous architectural details make it all worthwhile! This client envisioned this space as a home office and library but wanted color, color and more color! She requested the teal - I suggested the coral - and the results are anything but boring! A place to relax with a good book AND be creatively inspired! Photography by Marisa Pelligrini
Hive Home
Hive LA Home designed a transitional home office with a feminine touch. Teal raffia wallpaper from Phillip Jeffiries. Custom woven roman shades. Custom rug. Ottoman in muted blues accent the pop of pink in the floral loveseat from Annie Selke for a playful happy color palette. Louis Desk Chairs and Desk Ethan Allen.
