Who says you don't have space for a wine feature?
We just finished this beautiful wine feature in Westake Village with glass entry, traditional white oak lower wine racking and label view pin racking mounted on white oak chevron.
Pike & Partners
An Edwardian house of substantial proportions in one of the prime roads in South west London (close to Clapham common), which needed a new lease of life and generally updating for modern family life.
Our scheme not only involved the complete re- working of the house but by adding a full basement going right under the whole property and out into the rear garden.
The great thing about this basement is generous ceiling height (2.7m), the fact that it is so spacious and light … and as a result does not feel like a basement at all.
We also chose to connect the new basement areas with the main living room via a stylish staircase which acts not only as vertical link, but also as a striking design feature in it’s own right. The house now boasts some really cavernous and generous spaces, is filled with natural light and is a great venue for both family life and entertaining.

In this wine cellar conversion project, Wine Cellar Specialists installed Ultra PEG metal wine racks attached on Aluminum backer panels. They came up with a racking design to accommodate 222 bottles.
The label forward orientation allows for easy perusal of the wines. The wine cooling unit used was provided by US Cellar Systems.

Depicted here is alder custom wine racking Orange County, with a rustic stain and lacquer finish. Specifically, we utilized diamond bin, standard, and label forward display racks.
The total capacity of this wine room is 585 bottles, with more than 50 bottles stored in a label-forward orientation. The lattice arch added character to the wine cellar.

A wine barrel with a glass tabletop adds character to this New Orleans residential wine cellar. The space has a distinctly traditional appeal, with a slight rustic nuance.
The table is situated in the center of the wine room, and provides a nice view of the lovely arch display and wine racking.
LED lighting illuminates the space. LED lights are known to offer any benefits. They emit minimal heat, protecting wine from being spoiled. They also consume less energy, resulting in lower electric bills. They also have a longer lifespan than regular bulbs.

View from outside the cellar. Bring your collection to life with a beautiful window display. It offers a fantastic way to showcase a prized collection from the outside of your cellar, while providing some mystery as to what lays inside. Bottles are easily accessed from inside the cellar using a tiered angle display which provides ample room at the top for lighting. The display measures at about 4ft high by 6ft wide, holds around 160 bottles and can be customized to suit your needs.

As long as you don't have a furnace or boiler in the room, you can convert a basement utility room to a wine cellar. The wine bins are open in the back so you can reach through to access water valves. Spray paint walls and ceiling (including all exposed pipes) in a matt black and have simple diamond shaped wine bins built to fit. We used leftover terra-cotta tiles to warm up the concrete cellar floor, and an old piece of moisture resistant cypress as the tasting bar.

US Cellar Systems
US Cellar Systems supplied the wine cellar cooling unit for this project. We concealed it in a soffit in the ceiling.
In order to maximize the space, Coastal combine various racking styles including solid diamond bins, individual, horizontal, and lattice style quarter round display racks (on both ends of the left and right walls).
