Chester County Kitchen & BathThis Bryn Mawr PA homes master bath wasn’t lacking in size but it did need some redesign and a new feel. We transformed this bathroom into a sleek marble oasis. Porcelain tile replicates the look of marble without all the down sides of natural marble tile. I love the high sheen finish; it definitely looks spectacular. The large neo angle shower with frameless glass surround and large freestanding soaking tub fit the space perfect. The vanity in Echelon cabinetry Addison door with Dove painted finish blends perfectly with the new look; providing tons of storage and even a special pull out unit to house the hairdryer and curling iron with its own power outlet. The clients selections for all the fixtures and accessories are spot on. This bathroom renovation speaks for itself.

Simply Baths & KitchensThe layout and shape of this master bathroom was odd. A narrow walkway opened into a large area with a bay window and there was little room for storage. To achieve the most efficient use of space and natural light, the design team at Simply Baths, Inc. decided to combine both the tub and shower in one large walk-in, two-person wet room. This allowed for the abundant use of tile and stone throughout the bath creating the rustic, earthy aesthetic the homeowner longed for. The split-face slate accents wrapping the wet room and running along the floor in front of the toilet and vanity, bring in color and texture. Meanwhile, the cherry cabinetry and the velvet finish on the granite add beautiful warmth to the space. The sum total of all the elements is the room is striking, yet modest. It's a master bathroom that is surprisingly luxurious without being showy. Overall, it's a perfect place to wash away life's craziness and relax.
Kitchen Design ConceptsThis home was a complete gut, so it got a major face-lift in each room. In the powder and hall baths, we decided to try to make a huge impact in these smaller spaces, and so guests get a sense of "wow" when they need to wash up!
Powder Bath:
The freestanding sink basin is from Stone Forest, Harbor Basin with Carrara Marble and the console base is Palmer Industries Jamestown in satin brass with a glass shelf. The faucet is from Newport Brass and is their wall mount Jacobean in satin brass. With the small space, we installed the Toto Eco Supreme One-Piece round bowl, which was a huge floor space saver. Accessories are from the Newport Brass Aylesbury collection.
Hall Bath:
The vanity and floating shelves are from WW Woods Shiloh Cabinetry, Poplar wood with their Cadet stain which is a gorgeous blue-hued gray. Plumbing products - the faucet and shower fixtures - are from the Brizo Rook collection in chrome, with accessories to match. The commode is a Toto Drake II 2-piece. Toto was also used for the sink, which sits in a Caesarstone Pure White quartz countertop.
PBS ContractorsThis white bathroom with brown accents includes double sinks, plenty of storage for both, connects to the Master closet for easy access for dressing. The glass shower makes the best use of available space. Placement of the window also allows for plenty of natural sunlight from the Florida sun.
