Addition and full remodel, Cabbagetown, Toronto, ON
This 125 year-old townhouse has a 12-foot wide kitchen in an extention built in the 20's. After some remedial shoring and framing, the area was opened up and even gave room for a small island. Floors are wide plank birch in a dark coffee colour, and contrast perfectly with the white cabinets, marble and subway tile. Cabinets are heavily modified/ customized IKEA Lidingo cabinets.
