We are currently into our 11th month renovating. We lived in our house while the builder renovated around us. The back extensions were completed which included a garage and upstairs bedrooms and we moved into the garage while the rest of the house was completed.

You need time and patience and expect to clean up everyday when the builders are on the job site, that is what we did. Plus we painted to save money and installed cupboard and we were able to finish off different jobs the builder started. In the whole experience you have loved and enjoyed our renovation and kept a positive attitude with our builder to keep a good working relationship.

We lived in house through our kitchen remodel. A stationary kitchen with coffee maker, hot plate, toaster oven, electric skillet and mini fridge set up in laundry room was a life saver. The worst part was washing dishes in the bathtub!! Of course paper plates and plastic utensils came in handy.
Being there during the project was very helpful when questions popped up. It kept the work going. Establishing a friendly relationship with our project manager and crew facilitated a courteous atmosphere.
