Still not finished the floor and paintwork, but this is my “sunshine” room!
I used yellow to brighten our kitchen, but to get the effect I had some aluminium pressed trays made and powder coated bright yellow, trimmed the edges of the doors and glued them on. I couldn’t find yellow doors at the sizes I needed, so as we were on a fairly tight budget went in this direction, you could always use plain flat metal, but probably best to allow a 5mm margin and spray the edges of the doors in the same colour, or a grey margin.
