Great ideas in the photos. A tumble drier is a no no. So in our newnew home under refrurbishment, I'll put the laundry area behind sliding doors but within the downstairs cloakroom. A Sheila maid old fashioned drier as high as possible and a small radiator should get everything dry in no time and d ventilation holes in the sliding doors perhaps.
If you have the ceiling height, an overhead pulley is the best. Everything up out of the way in thr rising warm air. Tumble dryer gets used about 5 times a year (though was used more often when there were 6 of us in the house)
I have 2 crossing rails in a small cupboard 4' x 6' that houses boiler, so the heat from my boiler dries my clothes. It contains ironing basket and a box of hangers.
