Recycle offcuts |f you come across old layers of vintage vinyl while doing a flooring refit, hold on to the offcuts. You can then upcycle them to create a unique staircase that’s full of character, like this one – or just cover the risers for a simpler effect. If you don’t have any old vinyl, or enough pieces, send off for samples or try your local flooring store for offcuts.
