From this doorway to the end wall is 27 feet. You might take a clue from this photo, where we have defined the transition between rooms, at door thresholds, by alternating the wood direction the width of the jamb. I don't know if your laminate has a pattern which would allow this, but if it does, use it to play up the transition.
