Taupe here is just a bit too grey and a bit too dark. Here the contrast and color pallette works with the grey roof (much like the grey stone we'd have) and would look great with our black windows.

We want tongue and groove under the eaves. Color would tie with TG inside? Can lighting would wash the exterior walls. Room for cans?

This a pretty good composite of the darker wood, stucco (almost taupe) and stone (just not grey/rust enough). We are divided on the metal roof. I love it and Dee Dee doesn't.

This wood does it for us; looks great with the black windows and hopefully will tie to the grey rock as long as there is some rust color in the grey rock?
We're concerned about maintenance on any of our wood exteriors.............

Door against white walls very appealing. Ceiling and floor wood too light. Rock too beige

The wood and metal here would go great with our grey rock and taupe (lighter taupe) stucco.

This black window look could work for our interior and might the issue of wood trim - what color would it be. Perhaps more contemporary of a look than what we may end up with?

This wood color is what we love. And it will work well with a grey stone black window and taupe stucco with black awnings. We love the door also And the stone is beautiful even though it is a veneer from Eldorado Stone

Black framed windows work great for us. Every exterior window black
