Splitting into two sides is nice....but would require a lot of water.

Contrast between light rocks on the sides and darker rocks for the waterfall. I like the idea of lighter rocks for the waterfall.

Simple 3 step waterfall. It creates a mini-pond after the first step which is cool.

Several steps then large rock. It looks great to have the water spilling over one final rock, or over a couple similar rocks.
