Feels TOO white to me. I'd prefer black island and black appliances

I'll take the dog to go with my kitchen please. :)

Here's super modern cupboards with marble and a black island. I think I like the black stools that hide away visually if we go with the black counter top.

This is more the width of counter probably. This kitchen is TOO white - it lacks dimension. and there are WAY too many lights, it looks like a gallery. haha. I wish it had more black in it, and there really needs to be some kind of hanging light so that it feels more like a home.

Another example of black island with white cupboards. I don't like black tile, though.

Again, I love the marble top on black cabinets. The contrast is stunning. Leaning towards black island and white around outer area. That woudl tie in the stainless steel black appliances.

Small example of still using black and white.

We could do marble tiles instead of a HUGE piece of marble slab to be more transitional. Interesting how they merge black and white here. And I wonder about some glass cabinets to add depth especially if we are going super modern with the cupboards.

Marble countertop Maybe a mix of black island and white outer cupbards Do we want an industrial look? Lighting helps with that.
