Here's super modern cupboards with marble and a black island. I think I like the black stools that hide away visually if we go with the black counter top.

This is more the width of counter probably. This kitchen is TOO white - it lacks dimension. and there are WAY too many lights, it looks like a gallery. haha. I wish it had more black in it, and there really needs to be some kind of hanging light so that it feels more like a home.

We could do marble tiles instead of a HUGE piece of marble slab to be more transitional.
Interesting how they merge black and white here. And I wonder about some glass cabinets to add depth especially if we are going super modern with the cupboards.
