California is full of ranch homes. A family of three approached the architect and requested that their 50 year old ranch home be remodeled to include a Great Room.
The living room, the dining room and the kitchen are all under a new Great Room Roof which is the new dominant feature as seen from the street. Low water landscape design surrounds this beautiful remodel.
Gone are the 8 foot ceilings, now replaced by a wood paneled ceiling (painted) and high windows and fill the great room with light.
