Comments (7)Hello Orla, I love your Kitchen, you have nice fitting, stunning floor and lots of space! Have you got a splash back already? If not, what are you thinking to add, if you are? With those cabinets some glass panel would look nice and you could pick a colourful one as well. Walls painted in white would look quite flat and boring in your case so I would definitely go for a warm colour or maybe off yellow, that would suit your cabinets colour and the floor too. Good luck with your Project! StJames Design Interiors...See MoreLiving Room Renovation

Comments (17)You can paint the inside of FP opening charcoal and then I would go for a blue/grey and not greige. Those colors tend to be very dark. You have black furnishings and a blue/grey would look very fresh. Your art above FP has blue in it, so replace rug and get some pillows for sofa that will bring in the colors of the painting. Why not just put in some shelves, one big enough to hold tv. That would give a more open concept to room. If you need one enclosed to store components, that would fit also. I would not build up too high on the wall....See MoreLiving room arrangement
Comments (5)Will the radiator be an issue if you want to put TV to left of fireplace? Though it is a more prominent position, you could put the TV over to the right of the fireplace. Back to the window is better as regards glare on the screen if you are watching it during the day time. I would put your sofa in the middle of the room facing the fireplace. then I would put an armchair with its back to the window pointing in towards the sofa. This can be pulled sort of in front of the TV/ forward from the TV which will push the TV into the background and demonstrate that it is not your dominant feature. When you do want to watch TV you can push the armchair over a bit so you can see the TV from the sofa. Alternatively, put the TV with its back to the wall around where the mirror is leaning in your picture. And use houseology's great TV unit on castors idea whichever side you choose! Simple yet genius as you can push the TV right into the corner out of the way when not using - might use that one myself....See MoreSonia Goul-Wheeker
