I really think it's the plants that are supposed to be the center of attraction so I have a hard time thinking of anything better than painting the wall gray and the planters charcoal. However, trying to keep an open mind I did locate the photo above with yellow planters, which would be pretty against a gray wall. But looking at your very lovely blue door, I could see repeating that very same color on the planters and leaving the wall gray. It's always a good thing to repeat an existing color when it looks as great as that one does. That blue would be dynamite on a planter filled with green plants and colorful blooms.

What colour should I paint these kitchen cabinets?

I really need to redecorate my living room but not sure what colour scheme to go for. was thinking of a grey with brown undertones but not sure if it would be too bland. The sofa is almost identical to this one ⬇️

New living room opened up.. And I am completely lost with decorating.. Painting colours really everything I get overwhelmed when I try make a start.. We have moved into it but consists of 3seater brown leather couch and double seater and single seater none matching.. We have carpet on the floor until pipes are ran under floor for radiators eventually it will be wood or laminate flooring.. Huge mat there.. Curtains that I am sick of.. No photos on wall as unsure about sizes and colours of photo frames and positioning.. It's a very big room high ceilings.. Red brick fireplace.. Need loads of advise to have a nice relaxing homely feel.. Family 5kids 2adults
