Hello! Saw you posted this awhile ago, have you sourced the rug yet or are you still looking?

We have a striped carpet on the stairs - dark red, creams, grey. What kind of runner rug can we put on the wooden floor in the hallway? (It looks terrible with a rug made from the carpet material).

I live in a rented property so unfortunately I’m not permitted to paint the walls. I’m stuck with a boring magnolia on the walls in the living room. The floors are a light wood and the sofas are dark brown leather. I have bought this rug - see photo. I would like to add some nice curtains and cushions to make the room warm and cosy but I’m not sure what colours to go for. Any advice much appreciated, thank you.
