Do these shades clean up grease/wine/tomato sauce/water splatters?

We really want cellular shades in our kitchen, we are worried about putting it above our sink with splatters. Thank you,

    Cellular shades can be cleaned, however staining can occur and you often have to get them professionally cleaned if that should happen. It may be a better idea to put a faux wood such as a Hunter Douglas Everwood or possibly a Palm Beach shutter within your kitchen if you are concerned about food splatters.

    The other option is to keep the shade raised while you are cooking to avoid any potential splatters on the fabric.
