I want to paint my kitchen walls inclusive of where the presses are so the wall with the window and the wall to the right. The island is a sage colour. I'd go for a warm light grey picking out the colour in the stone fire surround - have a look at Little Green Paint company's Portland Stone it comes in three depths of colour and looks beautifully restful. Then dress it with natural plants!

Would suggest white! A warm white like wimbourne white. All of the most beautiful rooms in my house are painted white! Then add in some wall art and some plants.
