Washing Machine / Dryer transport base

Hello, I have a narrow space (65 cm wide) in my laundry room where I want to install my washing machine with the dryer on the top (stacked). And I was thinking to use an transport base with roller that can lock in order to be easier to move them in and out. Most of them on the market seems to support upto 300kg which seems more than enough as the tow applaiances weight 125kg plus their load should no even come close to the limit. But for a tested product that will not bend or have any other issues. I guess anti-vibration will be also important.

Why would you need to move them in and out? If they are new and installed properly it should be many years before they would need attention. I would get as much information as possible before using a transport base because of the vibrations.

Well if something goes wrong, there is a leak or whatever… without the base on rollers I will need assistance and because is so narrow not sure how possible will be once these are in place.

Good that you are planning ahead. Most people don't. I will educate myself further as to what you are proposing from a transport base choice. I would read this first.

I once sold an Aga which the man collecting it rolled it out on tube rollers. That was temporary though. Does the washing machine & dryer that you are considering have good reviews? I assume the tumble dryer is going on top? I think anchoring the wheels is a good plan? Do you usually use the fastest spin cycle? I only ever use the slowest to avoid creases. I don't have a tumble dryer either. As you have the tumbledryer maybe you don't need to spin wet clothes on the fastest setting which would help with washing machine movement and vibration.

Both washer and dryer are new models. The dryer is using heat pump technology so not vent. The washer does not have much vibration but either way I am not using fastest spin as we get plenty of sun here all year around and tumble dryer will do the rest. I am back and forth with the wheels. Maybe I will get one with good reviews and give it a go.
