Jalna99--Do you mean that there is no patio outside the front door? Or do you mean that you would like to pull the exterior door forward, under the existing porch roof enough to facilitate movement between rooms more easily? Both actions will require drawings and permits, I have little doubt, The second opton is much more substantial, because you would be creating new habitable space to what is now the exterior side of the structure. I suggest looking through the Houzz resources, and choosing a good bloke with the proper training in design that can steer you through the design and permit process to the extent that it will serve your immediate needs. Hi Antoinette I too live in Ireland in a Semi Detached. My husband who's the one with green fingers has transformed our garden into an oasis you wouldn't think we lived in a housing estate. You might start with cleaning the slabs. You could change the edging tile with a contrasting one to set it off. Use different sizes and colours of pots. A seating area in one section. Use lots of different colours and plants which are ok to grow in pots. Just seeing all the colours come to life in Spring and Summer will cheer you up. Here are some photos that were taken at the end of summer last year the leaves have started falling from the trees. Oh yeah still have the clothes line up too.

It small But your cabin sink unit is a good idea as you have storage space and it looks neat. I have changed my bath many times to shower unit and it has leaked every time, some times it has been the plumbers fault or bad design then it was a visitor who let the water spill while showering the last time it flooded the insurers wanted the bathroom TANKED! meaning waterproof walls and floors. This is done by an experienced plumber contractor of repute! as the insurers said too many claims from too many people with bad waterproofing. the insurer said they would not insure again or any other clients who had not got their bathroom water proofed by expert plumber fitters. SO I have gone back to the Bath with a shower enclosed and found it tops for waterproof.

Hi im looking to get a new sofa for my living room . I currently have an L shape but and not happy with it . There is only one really wall which I think it can be placed and its infront of my window which I think is blocking light ? And is against curtains . I'm thinking of also get roman curtain blinds in a pelmet box to avoid that ? I'm looking for any advice or inspiration I don't mind changing the style decor of the room ?
