Got some sliding wardrobes made up from MDF that need to be painted. Also need to paint the walls. We need some help with colour ideas for both the MDF and the walls that will work with other elements of the room. We have a dark blue velvet bed as you can see in the picture. The sliding wardrobe doors are walnut and we are getting walnut doors too. Mid grey carpet is going in. We have two big windows on either side of he room with white shutters so it's nice and bright. We're thinking blue or green to complement the walnut but really looking for some help or ideas from anyone more design minded than we are!
A really deep green behind the bed would look amazing. F&B or Little Green. That would also tie in with the wardrobe frames. Those built-in wardrobes are stunning. Its going to look fantastic when finished.
Your headboard looks like it could be close to F&B’s Hague Blue? Perhaps painting the whole interior & outside wall behind the headboard, with a lighter tone greyish blue colour to the rest of the walls to blend in with your mid grey carpet.
