I just had laminate flooring put down, and the scotia installed is consistently shorter than the existing skirting. Is this the normal way to do this? It just looks odd to me, but I'm not an expert. See photo.
I would say the white scotia either side of the door frame finishes too short and but not running up to door frame it draws your attention to it which is not what you want. I think it should go up to the door frame at least
The Scotia has been finished correctly and does reach the door frame/architrave in the right place. The architraves are also under-cut as they should be.
