I would like to get some opinion on what can I do with the hallway space and entrance next to the staircase. Do you have any suggestions on how this can be designed and maybe find more purpose for the space. I am providing some pictures; one of the hallway and the space next to the staircase which leads to the kitchen.
I would improve the storage solutions: Consider installing shelves, cabinets, or a built-in closet to maximize storage space. This can be great for storing shoes, coats, or other items, especially if it's close to the entrance. also consuder functional furniture: Place a narrow console table or a bench against the wall. This can serve as a place to put keys, mail, or as a spot to sit while putting on shoes.
I would consider bringing your dining table out into the space next to the door to inner courtyard and enlarging that doorway if you can to allow more light. The kitchen looks a bit dark and you have a lot of wasted space that I think could be put to better use. It looks like you have a small window from kitchen to inner courtyard could that become full height fixed window again to allow more light in to kitchen space. I would also consider fully built in storage under the stairs if you need it.
