dark middle, living room/TV room
We’ve a terraced, narrow house in Dublin. We built a single storey extension a few years ago & have a front play/toy room (which will be kept separate) my problem is our living room which is now the middle room. The back of the house is South West facing & we’ve 4 velux windows, a large window & double doors from extended kitchen out to garden.
The middle room is our only family room/tv room. Currently it’s painted F&B Artic White but I’m considering going dark. I’ve painted our TV unit with Annie Sloan”Aubusson Blue” which we love & I’ve recently bought a large Orange art canvas & orange cushions (which I love)
Sofas are 3+2 & are a navy/grey material (will be changed next year)
The room has one door leading from the hallway. No fireplace & no window. But has an arch opening into the extended kitchen, which lends sun light in summer but otherwise quite dark.
Any suggestions please?
