What handles should I get for dresser!

I stripped and sanded an old dresser and recrecently white washed it. I got these handles off of amazon and i hate them :(. They also show the filled knob holes too.the issue im having is that i drilled the wood to attach the handles. So i need new hanldes that will cover the filled holes. About 14cm from one hole to the other. i have no idea what will look good with the dresser tho. Help and advice is much appreciated :)

i wouldnt be opposed to sticking small stickers over the holes tbh, maybe i should go with gold instead of silved handles? what are opinions on these

Are you looking to finish the piece or leave the wood as is? Consider painting the back of the cabinet an accent color....maybe green or red? Is this off a kitchen or living room....what room is it closest to? The reason I ask is if it is close to the kitchen the obvious accessories are plates etc. A wooden bowl with either pine cones or wooden fruit, lemons? pears? Any pics you put on the shelf would have to be small, so I am not sure of the impact they would have. It would be cool to use a panoramic pic and hang at the back of the shelves. What about a picture of the farm? Antiques repurposed- these spools could be painted fun colors.

How should I modernize this kitchen without spending a lot?

In a year or two, we would like to renovate the kitchen/dining/living areas so I do not want to put a lot of money into the space right now... However, until that reno time comes, I would like to make a few small changes that will help modernize the space and brighten it up a bit I'm torn on what to do in this kitchen... I was thinking about staining the cabinets darker, painting the back splash tiles white & painting the walls... however... I'm a complete newbie and I'm not confident in my decisions at all. Few things to note, that table will not be there - I'm planning on getting a high, thin bar table (wood and steel) that will go above the radiator w/ 2 bar stools. I really like dark rustic & industrial design. I also don't plan on changing the flooring until reno day so I'll have to work around that as well. Any advice would be much appreciated :) Thank you!
