Hi. I'm struggling with ideas for the garden. I'm planning to change the layout slightly, maybe by moving dining furniture from in front of the shed to the kitchen (sourh on the photo), but I'm not sure how to create privacy on the right (east). I'd love to have some plants, but I'm clueless in terms of designing a flow. Any ideas?
For privacy I would suggest a small tree, although it will lose its leaves in winter but you will still have the branches for some privacy. Something like a Rowan, Crab Apple, Apple tree or a Hawthorn. The design is very square so maybe a circular lawn, incorporating some paving for the furniture and make wider beds for more planting. Edge the lawn with pavers as this stops it growing outwards. More planting alone will make a huge difference.
