Scorched socket replacement

last year

To be honest i‘m not sure if this is the place to ask but i have absolutely no clue about wiring. I’m visiting a relative and they’ve been plugging their kettle into a socket that also has the cooker wired into it. yesterday i noticed a burning smell and found that the socket had scorched around one hole and the kettle plug had melted a little. now obviously its unsafe to use that socket to plug things into but is it still safe to use the cooker? or would the entire socket need repairing/replacing?

I would replace it all pretty quickly. Shouldn’t be an expensive job for an electrician.
