Pls Help with Accent Wall

Hi all
My flat has a grey/biege colour scheme. I am choosing Nippon Silent Hour paint for whole house with accent wall for each bedroom. For master and one bedroom, we have shades of grey (pic attached). But one bedroom is for a teenager girl and her fav color is turquoise as attached. Her room is small and the wall chosen is the biggest wall and the bright color makes it out of place. The room is small and hence we are also doing away with curtains but have blinds instd cos there is only about 8cm gap between study table and bed (the image is not accurate). What should I do? Thinking of having the colour at the location where the curtains are now or at the bedframe or at the corner (part of both walls at the table) Appreciate all the help I can get to make this work. Sorry don’t quite know what you mean. Are you looking for a different colour to the aqua in that room? Feature walls sometimes can be confusing as it can be a struggle to find colours that go together. If it’s too bright then a paler version would work, something like Ocean Ripple by Dulux?

Because the wall with the headboard is so bare, the accent wall stands out too much. You can add a wall light, some art, plant and lighter night stand to bring the scheme together. Turquoise goes well with pale blush, dusty pink, wood, green, teal, navy, cream, brass and coper.

I'm thinking a warm gray...it would accent the mirror and go beautifully with the color of the fire surround and the gray floor. You could do the chimney breast (the bumped out wall) in a slightly darker shade that the other walls. As noted above, look at the Affinity Colors from Ben Moore as your inspiration, then you can look at other manufacturers. Also, not that you asked, but replace the "feathers" on the mantel with something else...they're too close to the look of the mirror and almost look as though they have fallen off...use them elsewhere in the room, grouped together.

I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool.

I would ordinarily recommend that you don't mix cream/ivory with white as they can often clash, but you have pulled it off with the worktops! bringing in more white in the form of the glossy table will only enhance the look you have already created. the only other option would be a glass table with white chairs or stick with the accent colour of subtle grey for the chairs.

Hi. I'm not that keen on the paper with the rest of the room, it doesn't look bad at all but it doesn't look stunning either imo. Everything else looks to be more of a greige? I'd look at the same paper in truffle, sable, dark linen or even the pewter may work ( hard to tell colours on screen so would get samples of all!). I agree with the others, would go for plain bed linen and add pattern in cushions and/ or throw. It looks as if a chalk pink would work best with the greige. Maybe a chalky white for the remaining furniture. You could also break up the window ŵall by adding a trim and maybe Pom poms to the bottom of the blind. A little antique gold for accessories, lights etc would also work well.

Thanks Marina and Sonia for the ideas. Yes I am looking for alternatives to the color and also complementary colors to the teal as I am choosing wardrobe and blinds colours as well. Thanks!
