Looking for LED toe- kick lights for under-mount of floating vanity. any suggestions?

A "floating" vanity doesn't have a toe kick. Use under cabinet leds.

Here is a photo of a high gloss white floor with very bright lighting. Being in the showroom i can't say that there is a glare, but you can see reflections of the lights for sure. I did the electrical install for the space. Agree with HERE that glossy wet tile can be slick as snot.

you know what? my house is not traditional, and yet, i somehow managed to buy an oriental rug for my living room (as you can see from my photo) i've seen so many wonderful oriental rugs, it took me a little while to choose. but my problem was, i was looking online. finally, i just went into a store with my husband, and we chose together. there are thinner ones and thicker. so depends what you want/need. i went for thicker. because these rugs have several different colors in them, i think you can choose from quite a selection and not be too worried. me personally, get nervous with too much light colors, as i have a dog. but the great thing with these rugs, you can barely see any dirt or marks (if any?) i think they have good choices and prices at boundary-mills and costco. i do understand also, about you not being sure cos of your patterned sofa. don't over think. i have seen soooo many pictures of people just going for it and mixing patterns. i know you can find some on houzz. i'll have a look, too. my living room even has some tartan in the curtains. one sofa is solid and the other two have stripes ha and i think it works with my rug. MAYBE, take a picture of your sofa. go to a shop with the rugs and put the photo against the rug and imagine. as for the 3 photos you showed, i like the creamer one and darker one.

Wow thank you! I was on the IKEA website and didnt find anything with motion sensor lights. I stayed at the L'Horizon Resort & Spa in P.S. and the vanity had them underneath . went on when I walked into the room . so nice.

and there are many others.

But if you want a light that turns on when you walk into the room, you probably want to control the light with an occupancy sensor, not a sensor built into the strip light itself.

I was thinking about adding a low-voltage LED waterproof strip tape at the toe kick for my future bathroom remodel, but after reading about the whole process, decided to scrap the idea, rather than add one more switch in the bathroom. Instead, I plan to install an electric lighted mirror that can be dimmed to act as a night light

I watched a DIY video on how to install the tape lighting, not that I have any interest in a DIY project, but I wanted to understand how it is done. It requires connecting the strip light to a 12v transformer (which converts 110 power to 12 volts) that is installed in the attic (or inside the vanity) and connected to a 110 line from a dimmable switch or on/off switch in the bathroom. The 110 line can be split to support two light switches -- one for the tape lighting (via the transformer) and another light, such as task lighting over the vanity.
