Odd Shaped Bedroom

I am so frustrated with my bedroom! It has no right angles and the chimney is not centered so the furniture placement is pretty much limited to how it is now. we also now have mismatched furniture. I feel that the space has potential but I do not know where to start with styling. it just feels cluttered and plain. I am limited with the wallpaper and painting as it is a rental, but any suggestions on wall decor/ bedding/ possible ideas for arranging are welcome!

Would you be able to move the bed in front of the chimney breast. Can you move that black wardrobe blocking the window to the corner where the wooden wardrobe is. Add a good sized mirror and artwork. Add a few decent sized lamps and change your bed linen to fresh white with a good contrasting colour you like.

I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool.

Thanks for all advice, do you mean book cases on wall that leads to dining room. tv unit on long wall looks good any tips on best way to lighten room and how to place furniture and centre room a little. more photos added. I can get new furniture so open to suggestions.

So I have just moved back home from college for a couple of months and I am in my old bedroom. It functions as my work space as well as for relaxing and obviously, sleep! As you can see from the pictures, all the furniture is placed in one corner of the room with a big empty space nearer the door. I won't be staying here for long and don't have much money to go out and buy new pieces but I'd like to rearrange the room so it's more balanced. I have a few pieces of furniture, and a single bed with built in wardrobes. The bedroom is awkwardly shaped and I am limited to how I can arrange my furniture. There is also a slanted roof to make things just a bit more awkward! Any tips you would have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys :)

Use adhesive wallpaper for the wardrobe to match the chest of draws. A large art work above the bed and larger bed side lamps
