That's looking a lot better. A few followup comments: 1. I agree with bepsf that the opening to the dining (formerly living) from the entry should be an "archway" or similar opening. A pair of pocket doors would work or make sure the french doors can open 180 degrees and stay out of the way. Similarly, I'd add an opening (with french doors if you must) on the other side of the fireplace to match the ones you have. 2. I'd flip the door to the utility room to the left so it aligns with the exterior door. Much more efficient use of space OR (better yet) flip the exterior door to the east and move the countertop to the other side. This way the door won't be as visible from the entry, you'll get more countertop, and the flow will be better. 3. Sitting room - if you need to keep the entrance from the front hall, why not move the fireplace to the southeast corner, flip the couch to the north wall and use this as your formal living room (and no door). The flow into the room will be much better. It also gives you much better use of the bay window. Then you can use the room now labeled "living room" as your more informal sitting/family room. 4. Squeezing past the shower to enter the powder room is still awkward. 5. Kitchen - it looks like the island (I assume that's what's in the middle) should move to the west to give yourself enough space to have a usable counter on the east wall. 4'6" is a pretty good distance between counters.. You seem to have more space than you need between the island and the patio doors. There's also a lot of inefficient space between the fireplace and island. I'd make sure that there's either enough room for a small table, or just make the island and east wall cabinets longer. 6. One last thought - since you rearranged the use of the rooms, had you considered switching between the dining and living? I think this would make things work even better. Here's what I've found after living in and visiting many tract homes- LR-13x18 FR-12x16 (and that they not be in the middle of the traffic flow pattern aka many tract homes post ww2 till about the late 50's) Kitchen (no eating area) 9x11 DR/Nook or other eating area 10x10 Entry-at least 3'6" wide 4' better Bedrooms (good design would at least provide 2 good bed walls aka no doors or windows in it) MBR-12x13 w/ at least 10 linear feet of closets All other bedrooms-10x10 with at least 5 linear ft of closets all closets 2' deep, Baths-5x8 but 5x9 better if fixtures lined up on one wall and tub/shower at end 7x8 and 8x8 with the tub/shower fully accessible if it's 5 ft long 6x8 if it's a 3' shower (fixtures lined up on 2 opposite walls). If you look and many floor plans the best ones will have all of this. Note that square footage does not have to be a lot-ciculation/flow between rooms helps this.

http://houzz.com/photos/3642990 This link kind of demonstrates the use of mosaics and the mirror idea I thought may be cool. Obviously they are vertical but I think it would work either way. Any pics of your tiles? I have seen your other post and know your suite is 'traditional' but another thing to consider I guess is the cost of the mosaics. £££ using lots may mean a big dent in your budget.

You could create an ensuite by borrowing space from the second bedroom, accessing it from the master. I would create one large luxury family bathroom by joining the current bathroom and the adjoining room into one. If you don't want to lose a room, you could swap the purpose of the two rooms, creating a medium sized bathroom and a small box room/study (expensive for some benefit). Lastly, if you really want to maintain the number of rooms but gain a bigger bathroom, you could move the family bathroom to the bottom, right-hand room, if plumbing allows. Hope this helps.
