Could you turn your sectional and chair to face the wall with the large painting, then wall mount the TV on that wall? If you remove the foosball table and take away some of the counter chairs, you could probably put a table in front of the sliding doors. Either way , you do need a larger area rug. Your sectional front legs should be on the edge of the area rug.

Since you have a choice of any color, don't choose colors that clash with the purplish pink paint next door. I'd choose a creamy white for the body of the house, and very dark purple (aubergine/eggplant) for the trim. Navy blue would also look good. Avoid red or green. Awnings would look great. I can see striped awnings in a cream and navy, with the building colors selected from the awning colors. If you can't eliminate the wires, run them through conduit or cover them with an approved casing that runs right under the windows. Paint the downspouts the same color as the body of the building.

Why don't you have an L shape and use the area under the window also for your sink and a couple of extra units? you could add shelves on either side of the window? Not sure why your fridge has to go at that end? might be best at the other end? As Sarah, suggests, get full height cupboards, and put the microwave in one of those, so that you're not losing so much space. Extra storage is probably more useful than having the microwave on display? It can easily be put on a shelf within a cupboard. (Our isn't even in our kitchen, but then we only use it once a week or so... so really depends) I'd also suggest drawers to the bottom of your units instead of cupboards.

Hi , just in the process of finishing a self build in Kildare and looking at options for softening the appearance of the front of the house. Originally we had burnt wood cladding (per 3d model images attached) but took them out for budget reasons. regretting that a bit now and difficult to retrofit cladding without risking damage to plaster so looking at what options or ideas people might have to break up the front, even at this stage.
