Hello,
In a a month or so I am starting having what is currently a living room converted into a kitchen.
I am quite set on stick down LVT for the flooring, but just wanted to check people's experience with regards to warmth.
The floor is solid (it was an extension in the 70s or 80s, the rest of the house is 30s and is suspended timber).
Question - does stick down LVT (which cannot be laid with underlay) feel cold underfoot / cause much heat loss when laid on a soild base floor?
I know I could go for UFH to remove all concerns but it's just a lot of extra expense and the cost is already spiraling!
Cheers,
Lewis
