I presume you’re looking for UPVC and if so I would look at Oak coloured. That would suit and work well with what you already have. Here’s an image of my upstairs windows in Oak colour that are plastic. We have timber on the front of the house but plastic on the back because of accessibility because of the garden room.

White windows always look smart or perhaps a grey. Then paint the garage doors to match the front door.

I like the pale grey render with the white windows or the other way round!

I want to keep the main features as my grandad built the house. Both my parents died within a year of each other, so I bought the house for sentimental reasons. I love the house as I grew up in it. But I want to modernise it gradually if that makes sense xx

I do Sonia, and I want to do it justice. I’m really into Art Deco style and I want to try and put my love of that into the house. Colours like Green, Black and Gold. I’m hoping I can do this by getting charted green windows with square lead. I’m not sure about the fascia either I go black for theme, or cover all with the green and have an abstract kind of door down to the glass?

I also think crittal windows would look amazing and bring it right up to date as well as keeping with the deco theme. otherwise black pvc windows actually look really good. Chartwell green stands out a lot, I would see some installed in real life first. Good Luck!

Thanks Anna, I have already started changing the fascia and pipes to black. The windows what I’ve ordered now is charted green with black square lead, so it will tie in with everything. The front door and other fittings will be changed to the colours. I will post a picture when it’s all done.
