Hi, we have a new kitchen tiled floor laid with underfloor insulation boards n this has raised the floor by almost 20mm. What type of threshold bar can we get for this to join with the laminate in the hallway? Is there an alternative solution?
Would something like this do? It is also worth visiting a good quality carpet and flooring shop as they tend to have a good range of thresholds, much better than the diy stores.
We have a number of options that may help resolve you threshold dilemma, ramp would be a good choice however there are also alternatives such as a reducer T-bar, please find links below:
