You need better use of counter top space. Looks like you have a lot tall cabinets but limited counter where you need it. Island could be multilevel so as to not seem so big.

It looks a little unbalanced because of the tall cabinets all to one side. There is an unfinished look on the wall with the sink/window with no upper cabinets. Maybe put shelves here on either side of window instead of where they are now?

I agree with 'Kitchens and Baths', you are leaving yourself precious little counterspace to accommodate 2 side-by-side wall ovens? Can't you stack them if you need 2? Also, a warning, I wouldn't be taking anything out of those ovens and "turning to the island" with them...not with a quartz countertop!! You'll have that whole end all scorched...unless you are quick and accurate with lots of trivets! But your "open shelving" is going to look like a pinched-in forgotten corner pantry...you really need more space for them too , if it is going to look right. Right now as it is, 2 feet of them are all but beyond reach (over the lower countertop) and then a mere 2 feet worth of actually OPEN, available space you can reach, then the monster of the floor to ceiling cabinet will be in the way. It will be like reaching around into a closet. I would seriously reconsider this design BEFORE your electrician shows up--and before you order all those (expensive!) cabinets. But as for the island 'crowding' the walkway--it looks as if your drawing says 1.2 meters? That's plenty and more than enough, even for running boisterous kiddos, you're fine there. Best of Luck.

I agree that you need a counter space beside fridge. Also consider sink in island vs cook top-then hood can go over cook top.

Here is a way to balance the no upper cabinets and IMO the large island will give you lots of counter and do not do it in 2 levels that makes it 1/2 usless as counter space . I think the open currved shelves at the end of the cabinet run is a very dated look and I would just install another cabinet there. When having the island done do not use corbels for the overhang support there are now great steel supports that are invisible and leave the over hang free of knee bangers . I like the back wall of tall cabinets but at the end where you have open shelving I would put overheads and have a cooffee bar under them insted of the shelving I think it will give a more finished look to that wall. I have 42” around my island and find it works just fine . An extractor up at the ceiling will not work to get rid of the steam and grease but you can get ones that telescope down when needed that are pretty cool looking If you look at the back wall in this kitchen you will see how i finished off that wall that is all tall cabinets and a fridge.Make sure your fridge is counter depth
