Is there a way:! I’d like all home central heating on controlled by hall thermostat and lounge rads turning off automatically when lounge is hot. We light a fire and are too lazy to turn 3 rads off so end up boiling or open the lounge door which triggers hall thermostat and it turns heating off in whole house so we go to cold bedrooms! I know it’s lazy but is there an automatic solution to get lounge rads to shut off when just lounge temp is high?
Yep, we use ego home, which means every rad has an individual thermostat. Means we set individual room temps - eg in the day only our two studies and the kitchen are heated, in the pm only our living areas and in the evenings the bedrooms come on. It’s amazing, cost a bit but money saving now as we only heat the bits of the house we are using.
