Hello We live in a Victorian semi detached and wanting a side extension and a cellar refurb and submitted panning permission for both. Would it be best to do the cellar refurb separately or at the same time as the extension? Should I be looking for a builder who can do both? As some builders who have been recommended haven’t had experience of cellar conversions.
You should be looking at engaging a professional team to manage the process. This will ensure that you get the best contractor and ultimately value for money on your project.
The construction process is full of variables and needs a qualified person to ensure your interests are considered. It is vital that you don't juat appoint a builder as this could lead to ever increasing pricing and no management of the quality.
