I’ve got a dark blue living room and need curtains but not sure what color to get. I don’t want light beige or linen

I would want to maximize the size of the space by keeping the drapes and sheers neutral to blend with the wall color. By hanging ceiling to floor drapes and sheers for both the window and the sliding glass door you are bringing the focus back into the room. Installing tie-backs will allow for privacy and light.

I would pull the lighter color from the stripes to use for the curtains. with a different wall color I could see the same green used. you might want to consider pulling the loveseat forward some and placing a folding floor screen behind it to hide the unused door.
