Pendant Light in Bathroom

The bathroom looks incredible, did you have to meet any requirements for the pendant light? Considering pendant lights are not recommended for bathrooms and if they are they should be out of reach.

I really want a pendant light in my bathroom but worried about the regulations.

Hi There, Does anyone know if recessed ceiling light positioned on each side of main bathroom mirror would give good lighting for make up etc? I have small bathroom and was hoping to put 2 recessed over the bath area and 2 recessed (further together) over the mirror. I could do wall lights but design does not lend itself to this. If it was me, I would centre it and only silicone the back. I understand your concerns about water going down the side. Realistically, though, as you will only be washing your hands and maybe teeth in it, there is unlikely to be much water gushing about. To detract from the fact there is not as much space on either side of sink, I would have carpenter either wall mount or put legs on the cabinet so there is space underneath and the unit doesn't look too chunky!

island pendant lighting

I would love some advice on finalizing a choice for island pendant lighting. My kitchen has 8 foot ceilings and the island will be 4'x6'. My husband is 6'1" so I want to make sure lighting isn't too low for his sight line but also to not have fixture too tall that it looks strange hugging the ceiling too closely. I like the seeded glass look and brushed nickel finish as it will coordinate with the glass front cabinet in wet bar area. I also prefer rod vs. chain or cord hanger. This light is 12.5" wide x 11.25" high. Would have a little longer drop from ceiling. I think I would do 2 instead of 3?? This light is 10.5" wide x 15.75" high. It would only have a 6" drop from ceiling so don't know if that is too big and too close to ceiling. Maybe do just 2 or possibly 3?? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
