Comments (5)The long black one is the back garden door way.The smaller one on the same wall is the door way leading to extension;s corridor. The black square at the front is the door way to enter the room. The white squares are the supportive pillars for the back wall and the long one is the chimney breast. Thank you for your answer :)...See MoreHelp with Kitchen/Dining area layout - new build
Comments (1)I think I would have one set off steps down and move the dividing presses to the side where your sink is, making it a peninsula. That would make for a nice L shaped banquette seating area where your blank wall is, and the gallery backdrop would be great there. You could also have a nice long table as opposed to the small square one. I also hope you don't mind me saying that I think you need to reconsider the placement of your hob. It's right beside a door which will be awkward and you have your back to the room when entertaining. You will have such a nice kitchen that you should make the most of it for entertaining. Even you consider putting it on the island facing the dining area?...See MoreKitchen cabinet layout - need help deciding!
Comments (0)We are building a new kitchen and need to decide on the order of cabinets. See the design attached. There is space on the wall behind the island for for: - Boiler (needs to stay in far left corner) - Fridge - Oven / Microwave - Pull-Out Larder The latest design has them in the order as above (left to right). Looking for other's opinions on how best to order the oven, fridge and larder. Any other thoughts welcome!...See Morekitchen layout confusion
Comments (4)Hi Fran.I think the hand-drawn design is fabulous as 1.You did not put a hob or tap in the island.....this in my opinion leads to lovely clean lines in a kitchen. 2.This design gives more space in a kitchen which is what you want. 3.I LOVE the wedge shape WITH seating. I saw one similar in a kitchen designed by Savvy Kitchens and loved it. 4. I noticedyou had drawn 2 little chairs and a little circular table also. Fab!! I love the idea of a seperate little zone near light to read/relax/enjoy garden view. Anyway...the best of luck with whichever plan you decide to follow.👍...See MoreCA-RD
