White or grey bifold doors?

We are adding a single story kitchen extension to our house and are 50:50 between white and anthracite grey bifold doors. The extension will be where the two windows with the georgian bars are. Externally the rest of our windows are white and we have a reddish brick. internally the kitchen will be quite light and bright. Both options have their pros and cons, but it would be good to get some other opinions for our house in particular!

White pros: Blend in with the rest of the house. Our house is quite wide and narrow, so there would be white windows either side of the extension.

White cons: Potential 'plastic' look. Also supposedly there is the optical factor that your eye stalls on the frames before looking out.

Grey pros: Sleek and modern. The frames are less obvious against the view of the garden.

Grey cons: Will it date, as it is very much the thing at the moment? Contrasts with the rest of the house - could it look messy?
