Hi, I have been wondering how I can make my bedroom window more usable and practical. They are high on the wall and can't be opened unless we use a ladder or climb on the bed. I was thinking of making them longer but I would basically only gain a foot or so since the roof of the kitchen extension is a foot and a half below the window sill level. Any ideas how I could make them nicer / practical?
