Integrated Garage Door Help

Hello all! We’re considering having a door fitted from our kitchen into our garage so we can use it for storage more easily but struggling to find a door that meets fire/regs/security requirements that doesn’t look like a office building fire escape, any recommendations? Many thanks!

There are several door manufacturers providing fire doors that look the same as regular internal doors. Are looking for a particular style?

Sounds like an excellent idea. I found these fire doors at Wickes online, but you can find them at Screwfix, B&Q and many online suppliers. They look quite nice.

I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool.

Need help for layout of new extension

If I'm being honest, I'm really not sure on this layout. You have services on both sides of the extension, which even with my limited knowledge of building is expense that you could avoid. Do you need a laundry and a utility, or could you combine them.? Also I hate the idea of a toilet off the kitchen. The garage also looks small. Could you take out the door on the garage and make that the bathroom off your corridor, and make the corridor your utility. Then you have all the space free where the new bathroom and utility are. If you want more space for the utility and bathroom I would suggest bringing that wall in (make kitchen and dining narrower) and that would have the advantage of making your study wider. One other point is that leaving the study there with a window to the side will make the kitchen very dark.

IKEA integrated fridge help. Does it open past 90 degrees?

Hi, we're redesigning the kitchen and have integrated fridge and fridge/freezer in the plan at the moment. We visited IKEA Saturday and upon looking at them, the doors only opened just past 90 degrees, this made the pull out drawers difficult to open. When we checked the fridge needs a 95 degree hinge which seems to explain it. The door also pinches against the frame to stop it opening further. Is this normal with an integrated fridge? If so is it annoying? Thanks

I like different colored grey bricks and I am also looking for help redesigning the stairway/landscape area. I was thinking of adding a patio under the right window somehow. The garage is black, so thinking of doing black windows and door.
