All your wall treatments in every project is very intriguing. What is it? Lime plaster?

Hello thank you so much. We try to use natural materials and finishes as much as possible.

Here we have kept the initial leakages, treated them with waterproofing materials and kept as it is, as we believe its a natural art. :)

shelly12345...not sure if you have completed your fireplace/room, just saw this post while looking for help with my own family room. I think would paint the fireplace and mirror white...would match the trim work of your room and your lighter furnishings. Something that was suggested to me...use some fabric or poster board to cover the wood on both, just to give you an idea of what it would look like white. That way you are not committed once the paint has been applied to the wood. I love Dytectur's idea of wallpapering the room and having the fireplace wall white. Would really pop! Good luck and post pictures if your finished or when you finish.

Hi. Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area I think a select piece of art would really make the space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Please check out my website if like the idea and please get in contact, commission work is also welcomed so if you like a particular style I can do in a select colour palette and size but with this it can only be done as a original piece and not a print.....but all prints i can do to the same size or smaller than my original paintings, so lots of options. Hi. I've seen you're doing the living room in elephants breath. Why not continue this on the "kitchen"ŵall for some contrast with the cabinets and to keep the arch the same colour and then do the rest in skimming stone to keep it light. I don't think you need to go mad on accessories, you already have green in both rooms. Why not move the purple dish onto the island and add a ceramic vase and potted herb etc. for the table add a vase of good quality faux flowers in soft white with some really deep purple and some green foliage.
